Matchsaver Deliver Waterproof Air Roller Covers to Rochdale AFC

Rochdale AFC are currently playing in the National League, the 5^th tier of the English league system. Rochdale’s stadium, known as Spotland, has been their home since 1930 but in recent seasons the stadium pitch has been struggling with waterlogging issues which has affected the club’s ability to fulfil fixtures. This disruption can negatively affect revenue streams so naturally the club were keen to prevent this. Matchsaver Pitch Protection were approached to discuss ways to help alleviate the problem.

After discussing various options, the decision was made. A set of 7 waterproof Air Roller Covers were purchased and delivered to Rochdale in February 2025. The Matchsaver Air Roller Covers arrived fully assembled and ready to be deployed sideline to sideline across the Spotland pitch.

The club are pleased that the kit has already saved several football fixtures which otherwise would have been postponed.
