Many of Matchsavers customers are based within the global football or soccer industry, but their range of flexible products cater for a whole host of other sports too, with tennis covers an increasingly important one, particularly in the summer months when football and soccer can take a temporary backseat.

Warwick Boat Club needed to protect their new green artificial clay tennis courts from the effect of flooding and water damage so approached Matchsaver to devise a solution.

After detailed discussions and various proposals the club a bespoke solution was chosen based upon 2 Waterproof Air Roller Tennis Covers to be deployed on either side of the nets from one side-line to the other covering all the clay courts. Also, extra covers were provided to nestle around the bases of the court lights providing a sealed and complete solution.

The kit will be deployed by two people and stored by three.

This means the club will be able to keep their new court surfaces in good shape for longer. Also to help to keep matches on in the winter generating more revenue which otherwise would have been lost.

The Air Roller Tennis Covers are to be stored on pallets in an area prepared just for them outside of the courts.

The club are delighted with the kit as it gives them added assurance going forward.
