Matchsaver Pitch Protection Covers – Deliveries Winter 2022-23, Italy

This winter Matchsaver have continued to add more customers to its extensive list of Italian clients.

One of these is U.S Catanzaro 1929 of Serie C.

The Italian club play their home matches at Stadio Nicola Ceravolo, which is one of the older stadiums still currently in use in Italy. Catanzaro is in Calabria in the far south of Italy but even in the south the weather can still be difficult during the winter. Heavy rain throughout November and December is common and that can prove very disruptive to fulfilling fixtures.

So, to keep potential fixture disruption to a minimum the club decided to update its pitch protection and Matchsaver Pitch Protection were approached to provide a solution.

A set of 7 waterproof air roller covers were delivered just before Christmas. The football pitch covers will provide the protection required to help keep Catanzaro’s matches on throughout the season.
