The Matchsaver Automated System covers the field using two or more motorised rollers to deploy a specially designed weather-proof cover quickly and easily, using minimal grounds crew. The motorised rollers travel either along the field (goal to goal) or across (sideline to sideline) dependent on requirements. To cover the field, the rollers are driven forwards automatically deploying the covers to protect from rain frost and snow. To remove the covers, the grounds crew select reverse on the wireless remote control and the rollers travel back to the opposite end of the field, rolling up the cover in readiness for the next game/training session.

Flexible, Tough and Recyclable, Matchsaver covers are lightweight strong and water-proof with UV protection plus a light transmission rate of 70% to help aid germination on natural grass. Also suitable for protecting synthetic surfaces. Both waterproof and permeable material options are available.
When not in use the compact rollers can be stored discreetly behind the goal or sidelines. Alternatively other storage options are available. Team or sponsors logos can also be displayed on the rollers when not in use as a potential additional source of revenue.

As a result, Matchsaver automated covers are used by teams at the highest level of international sport. The covers have been developed in conjunction with leading agronomists who have helped develop them to provide optimum protection for sports fields. Tough and hard wearing with UV stabilisation, the clear transparent material allows 70% light transparency creating excellent germination conditions for natural turf. The germination properties of the covers have significantly improved the condition of field-turf on many of our customer’s sports fields. For example, yellow dormant turf can be transformed into world-class playing surfaces. The covers have been fully tested between –35 and +60 degrees centigrade. For clubs that already have under-field heating installed, the insulating effect of the Matchsaver cover can reduce heating bills and CO2 emissions.
Configuration 1 shows playing field covered end zone to end zone by 2 automated roller covers. Configuration 2 shows playing field covered by 3 roller covers sideline to sideline.
