Matchsaver Air Rollers can help deploy large covers and side sheets to protect multiple wickets and run-off areas. An air blower is used inflate the rollers.
Matchsaver Air Roller Covers can be delivered pre-assembled and ready to be deployed. When bad weather is forecast inflate the air rollers and deploy the covers. Sandbags are available as an option to purchase from Matchsaver to help keep your covers in place. When the weather has cleared, sweep the water from the covers, inflate the air rollers, uncover the pitch and store the covers for next time.
Flexible, Tough and Recyclable, Matchsaver covers are lightweight strong and water-proof with UV protection plus a light transmission rate of 70% to help aid germination on natural grass. Also suitable for protecting synthetic surfaces. Both waterproof and permeable material options are available.
Air Roller covers can be deflated and stored either pitchside or can be moved to a suitable storage area.

Made from a tough hard wearing material with UV stabilisation, the clear transparent cover material allows 70% light transparency creating excellent germination conditions for natural grass. The germination properties of the covers have significantly improved the condition of grass on many of our customer’s pitches. For example, yellow dormant grass pitches can be transformed into world-class playing surfaces. The material is stable between –35 and +60 degrees centigrade. Matchsaver Air Rollers are manufactured and are made from heavy duty coated fabric with UV stabilisation and reinforcing grid. All joints are fully heat sealed for constant use in the harshest of outdoor environments. All rollers are fitted with high-quality quick-release valves for convenient inflation and deflation.
