Matchsaver Pitch Protection Deliver Air Roller Covers to Oxford United FC

Matchsaver are very pleased to announce the delivery of a set of Air Roller Covers to English Championship side Oxford United FC.

This famous club founded in 1893 as non-league Headington FC and only changed their name to Oxford United in 1960, finally achieving football league status in 1962.

The Championship club are undergoing an ongoing exciting redevelopment with modernisation work undertaken for both the Kassem stadium and the new training ground.

As part of the redevelopment the club needed to update pitch protection assets, so Matchsaver were approached to submit proposals.

A set of 8 permeable Air Roller Covers were chosen and delivered in January 2025. Deploying side-line to side-line and delivered fully assembled the Air Roller Covers will help mitigate against the English winter weather and help towards germination.
