Matchsaver deliver Air Roller Covers to Latvia, Riga FC.

Based in the Latvian capital Riga FC have played football at the Skonto Stadium since the club’s formation in 2014 from the amalgamation of two other Riga based football clubs.

The 8,000 capacity stadium also plays host to the Latvian national side and various other non-sporting events.

Now playing in the Virslīga, Latvia’s top division, Riga FC needed pitch protection to help keep matches from being postponed during the winter months.

As with all the Baltic states snowfall can be expected between December and March together with plenty of rain.

Therefore, a decision was made to provide a solution for the stadium.
